Happy Thanksgiving!  Your local Red Cross office is closed today and will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 26, 2010, but help is just a phone call away.  Our Disaster Action Teams, DAT for short, are on call 24/7 to provide assistance in the face of disaster.

Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.  Hard to believe that another year is almost over and it is once again time for our New Years Eve Ball Drop.  It will be here before you know it, if you haven't gotten your ticket for this annual fundraiser, give us a call, we would be happy to drop tickets off to you!

The past few weeks have been busy for your local Red Cross Chapter, volunteers, Sandy Fenn, Tom Fenn, Rose Ann Fennell, Cynthia Swarner and Mary Jo Vance provided canteen service for training helded in Washington County.  Added to that was 5 single family house fires that the chapter volunteers responded to, providing assistance to those affected.  Thanks to our volunteers for all their hard work and dedication to those in need!
